Holiday grief

The season of joy is here,

but for many, grief has sprung forward.

There has been so much loss, death, grief, illness and pain.

The strain and worry of the past few years has carried a toll and finding joy can be difficult.

Dear God, help us to find some joy, even in the pain and grief, even in the hurt and worry.

Helps us to cling to you.

Help us to walk through the worry and find hope in the midst of the unknown.

Stand with us and grant comfort.

Amen
