Worship: Go and tell
God,
you are big enough
Big enough to carry our hurt
big enough to carry our pain
big enough to carry out doubt, worry, and uncertainty
Help us to turn to you wherever we are
help us to trust in your biggness
help us to know that your steadfast love is true and deep and wide, big enough now and always for whatever we hold!
Amen

Worship for the week of March 26, 2023
Out of the depths I cry to you, O God.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;
My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning.
O Isreal, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem.

From the most of those among us to the least, Christ Jesus came to make his works known.
From the most of those among us to the least, Christ Jesus can use us to reach out.
From the most of those among us to the least, Christ Jesus calls us to go and share the good news of the Gospel.

God’s spirit dwells in us, for we are God’s temple.
We belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
Therefore, in this time and place, let us join together as God bearers and worship God together.

When we pause to look around, we can see the many blessings that we have been given. Even in the worst of circumstances, there still exists some grace somewhere around us. What are your treasures. Name them! God’s grace is a good start.
How will you share your treasure this week?

We are all important, our light is important. We are not too unworthy, too lacking, too unqualified, too young, too old, too busy, or too inadequate. We are just what God made us to be, a part of the body of Christ Jesus; valued, loved, and precious!

God created us each unique individuals and gifted us with our own talents, passions, and skills. God also has called us together to with each of those unique gifts and skills for the forward movement of God’s desires. God has gifted us the members of the body of the Church to support, uplift, cherish and walk beside. God has given to us others to walk beside who complement us and whom we complement. It is when we each live into the gifts we have been given, within the context of a larger community, that God’s glory really begins to take hold and shine.
Worship January 15, 2022
Our gifts of the spirit do not have to be huge. They do not have to be amazing, spectacular, or overwhelming. We all have gifts given to us by the spirit that allow us to share a small bit of God’s love in the world around us. wither it washing dishes or balancing the checkbook, if it is interpreting Scripture or teaching others. Whatever our gift is, when we use it we will find joy and we will share the light of Christ for others.
