A prayer for these days

As tensions grow

and anxieties heighten—

with the unknown looming with each new dawn,

calm our hearts, Holy One.

Help us to anchor ourselves in you.

May our faith in your ability to work, even in the unknown and unstable,

give us a measure of peace

in these strange days.

Help us to let go of our need to know and to control the world around us.

Strengthen our ability to lean in to you,

the creator.

No matter what the weeks ahead hold,

we are yours—

you are ours,

that is enough.
