A prayer in the sunshine

Holy God,

the sun shines brightly today.

In the middle of storms, you have given us a day of warmth and sunshine.

May it be a reminder that spring will be here

and that brighter, warmer days are in our future.

Help us cling to this day, to soak up the shine shine while we can.

We know the rain will return all too soon.

The temperature will drop.

Gray sky will block out the warmth.

But in this day,

let us celebrate the light,

soak in the warmth

and enjoy a moment of joy!
