God of Storms

God of storms,

we know you can calm the seas, the winds, and the rains.

We come to you seeking calm for the storms which are raging all around us and within us.

Calm our hearts of fear and worry.

Calm our souls from the stress and strain.

Calm our minds from the turbulence and tumult.

Grace us with peace.

Fill us with hope.

Surround us with moments of joy.

Help us to see the peace, hope and joy that are around us that we might take a moment to breathe, to renew, to be restored.

Help us through these difficult days with love and mercy.
